Behind the scenes
The photos are pulled in from one of my sets on Flickr called “Personal Favourites”, which I use to easily manage what appears on the site. It has some CSS3 niceties including transitions and fancy fonts as well.

The site is really easy to theme in terms of colour. It uses one variable in LESS to set the main hex colour (the true colour of the name, “Benjamin Reid”), then all the other colours/shades are modified based of the original colour set in the variable.

I was thinking about making the codebase open for tinkering on Github if there was any interest. So give me a shout if you want to know how it all works.

Absolutely brilliant! On October 25th a giant Legoman washed ashore on Siesta Key Village, Fla. Fantastic find by @Jazzybam, however this has happened before. Another Legoman washed up three years ago in Zandvoort, Holland. Followed by one in Brighton, England in 2008. Whether is simply an artist expressing himself through the toy, or something far greater, I think its some brilliant publicity for Lego.

I want one!

I have a nice little photography/web app’ on the cards and I need your help! I don’t want to give too much away, but it revolves around cameras and their lenses.

What I would love from you, is pictures of your lenses.

Here is an example of what I’m hoping for:

This post is just to gauge some interest for people willing to take on this task for me. If there’s enough of you out there, I’ll put together some more specific instructions and information together.

Anyone helping will be rewarded in some shape or form. :)

Home Sheep Home 2 : A little Epic is the latest work in progress here at Aardman Digital. It’s the sequel to our original flash game which has racked up over 100 million plays and been nominated for a BAFTA! It really is a little epic, because there’s over 60 levels, 3 locations and a tonne of hidden treats to get your teeth stuck into!

The beautiful graphics have all been drawn by our hyper-talented illustrator & animator Robin Davey, with the puzzles and mechanics all created by our resident games genius Chris Underwood. I’ve been lucky enough to be involved in the project too, designing the logo, in-game interface and this here website too.

The game is coming to iOS and Desktop real soon, keep up to date on Facebook & Twitter!
